Lesson 027 minBeginner
How to read our signals
Decode the entry / SL / TP / score / confluences format. Know exactly what to do when a signal lands in your Telegram.
Every signal we post follows the same format. Once you can parse it in 10 seconds, you'll know exactly what to do — no second-guessing, no missed entries.
Anatomy of a signal
Here's what lands in Telegram when our bot fires:
🤖 PRO AUTOMATED SIGNAL 🔥 [HIGH CONFIDENCE]
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Asset: XAUUSD (Gold)
Timeframe: M5 | Session: London
Direction: 🟢 BUY MARKET
🔵 Entry Price: 2650.50
❌ Stop Loss (SL): 2645.00
🎯 Take Profits:
├ 🟢 TP1: 2655.00 (RR 1:0.8)
├ 🟢 TP2: 2660.00 (RR 1:1.7)
└ 🟢 TP3: 2665.00 (RR 1:2.6)
🧠 Signal Score: 85%
⚡ Confluences: ChoCH/MSS (+30), OB Zone (+25)
Field-by-field breakdown
- Confidence badge. Score ≥85 =
🔥 [HIGH CONFIDENCE], score <85 =⚡ [POTENTIAL]. Save your account by taking high-confidence signals first when you're building skill. - Direction + order type.
BUY MARKETmeans enter long immediately at current price.SELL LIMITmeans place a pending sell at the entry price and wait. Order type changes how fast you act. - Entry / SL / TP1 / TP2 / TP3. Five price levels. Place ONE trade at the entry price. SL and the three TPs are where you partially close.
- RR ratios. Risk-to-reward.
RR 1:1.7means TP2 gives you 1.7× the dollar gain compared to the SL loss. Higher RR = better long-term math. - Signal score. 0-100 internal rating from the algorithm. Above 85 = many confluences aligned. Below 75 = potential setup worth watching, not a high-conviction trade.
- Confluences. Why the bot thinks this setup matters. Each tag has a score weight (+30, +25, etc.). More tags = stronger setup. See the SMC lesson for what each tag means.
How to execute
When a signal arrives, here's the workflow:
- 1. Calculate position size. Use the Position Size Calculator. Plug in your balance, risk %, entry, and SL. It outputs the lot size that risks exactly what you're willing to lose.
- 2. Place the order. Open your broker terminal (MT5 / cTrader / web). Set entry price, SL, and pick which TP to target initially (most members use TP2 as the main exit).
- 3. Move SL to break-even at TP1. When price hits TP1, drag your stop loss up (BUY) or down (SELL) to your entry price. Worst case from there: scratch trade, no loss.
- 4. Take partial at TP2. Close 50-75% of position at TP2. Let the remainder ride to TP3 with break-even SL protecting you.
- 5. Don't touch it. No moving SL further into profit before TP1 hits. No adding to losing positions. No closing early at small profit. The system works if you let it work.
Pro tip — preset orders
Most brokers let you set entry, SL, and 3 TPs at order placement. Use that. Set it, walk away. Coming back to a screen mid-trade is how emotional decisions ruin good setups.
What status updates mean
After the original signal, you'll see follow-up messages in the group as price hits each level:
🟢 TAKE PROFIT 1 REACHED— Move your SL to break-even.🟢 TAKE PROFIT 2 REACHED— Close 50-75% if you haven't. Profits are running toward TP3.🏆 ALL TARGETS COMPLETED— TP3 hit. Trade fully closed in profit. Signal marked closed on the Hub.🔴 STOP LOSS TOUCHED— SL hit. Trade closed at the loss you planned for. Signal marked cancelled.
Now that you can read a signal, the next lesson covers why we issue each one — the SMC concepts that drive our confluences.
